Ancient Ingenuity, Modern Complexity: Who’s Truly Advanced?

 As we stand at the threshold of a new era in human advancement with AI, I look back at ancient times and all the marveks that defy conventional understanding. As i try to compare the achievements of our ancestors, and those made today, I am left wondering, WHO IS MORE ADVANCED?

if we just go back 100 years and look at how discoveries werre made, how knowledge was gained, the sacrifices made to learn things that most of us would have deemed impossible, especially since they did not have the tools that we have at our disposal today. And in spite of that lack, it is only appropriate that we at least admire and resoect the journey they took to bring us to where we are today.

As far as we know, since the neiolithic time, making monumental structures have been done with only the  bare mimum of tools, and a vision. With places like Stonehenge, the Pyramids of Giza, the ancient site of the South American cultures such as Maya, Aztec, Incas and Olmecs, we see the level of mathematics, science, and architectural understanding that goes beyond what we are capable of today.

While our tools have become more advanced in scope and versatility, many of the ancients achievements cannot be reproduced with such precision. One such example are the stone masonry found at the site Teotihuacan. Each piece of crafted stone found there were fone with such precision, the only way we can come close to replicating their works is by computers and laser, tools which were not available back then. The Pyramids of Giza are another example of the impossuble. With the stones weighing to staggering amounts, that todays machinery would be hard pressed to reconstruct them with the level of accuracy the originals. 

How did the ancients achieve these impossible feats? While we boast of our advancemetns and our tools, Nothing we create today can compare to the awe inspiring monumnets left behind by those who only had a dream, and laborious, manual complex problem solving, qwuipped only with what nature provided.

So, who is REALLY advanced? Is it us withour gancy toys with blinking lights? Or was it the ancients to had to do everything by hand, LITERALLY?
